Jessica's life has revolved around singing and the musical stage from a young age. Having grown up around multiple international recording artists, she has long been exposed to a unique blend of styles and techniques. She began to seriously focus on singing in high school, including being a four-year member and section leader of the Nevada All-State Choir - an elite audition group. Continuing her studies at the University of Nevada, she minored in music, performed in several musical productions and operas, was a soloist and section leader with the Nevada Chamber Chorale, and a member of the Wolfpack Quartet, representing the University at multiple events. Her undergraduate thesis observed her musical studies through the lens of her major, mathematics, in attempts to quantify characteristics of classical composers.
After college, she worked for the Walt Disney Company, performing with the Disneyland Cast Choir in their annual Candlelight Processions and even a live Good Morning America broadcast. In addition, she performed in, co-wrote, and co-directed musical theatre events at the Hyperion Theatre in Disney California Adventure, featuring hundreds of cast members. Today, she lives with her husband in England, where she often drops into classical choral concerts at the spur of a moment, most recently Mozart's Requiem.
Her "Singing with your Uke" workshops are chock-full of valuable foundational vocal techniques and are often filled to capacity.
